Atmosphere with highlights (lowlights) of ethereal winds that bind the wandering soundscapes. Mechanical pulses occasionally ring in, distorted and menacing, giving the winter landscape temporary life. Distant voices lend withdrawn melody that gives the adventurous listener no solace. A masterpiece of emotion and sound!

Available for the first time in over a decade, The Grey Subaudible is an oft-overlooked, sinister masterwork created by multi-instrumentalist J. William W. (Agalloch, Self Spiller, Especially Likely Sloth) under the NOTHING moniker. Not to be confused with the output of the recent (and similarly excellent) shoegaze band, these five long-form tracks mix orchestral elements, dark ambience, industrial grime, and spoken narration, and are bookended by jarring power electronics. Remastered especially for this release by JWW himself at Audio Savant Studios in Portland, OR.
Please note that the occasional peaking, distorting, and other seemingly "incorrect" audio elements are in fact 100% intentional by the artist.
